My blog and I

I wrote my first story over 25 years ago at the age of four, and by first grade I was penning short stories for my friends. Needless to say, I know I’m meant to be a writer. But I also know it is a constant learning process. A writer is never perfect. And I have to tell myself it’s not about the  ratings. It’s not about the number of downloads. It’s about getting the stories out of my head and onto paper, just like this blog is about getting my thoughts on writing out of my head and onto this blog.

If you are curious about my writing, check out “Achieving Apollo.” “In the Time You’re Given” and “Messengers by Moonlight” on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Smashwords. To contact me about this blog or my writing, shoot an email to

  1. Glad I found your blog, your way of thinking is similar to mine. I get caught up all the time when I sit down to write – I am also a family historian so checking Ancestry is a daily occurance! And now, I have started a blog so there is something else to distract me!!

      • Yes, definitely. It certainly is a balance isn’t it! All I know is that when I write I feel myself totally and completely. That feeling of ‘home’. I have been umming and ahhing this blog thing for years but now that I’m doing it I’m thinking ‘why did I wait so long?!’
